Ethiopia will host the forthcoming Fifth Annual Africa Hotel Expansion Summit from February 27 to 28, 2018. The meeting will take place in Addis Ababa hence attracting tourists from various African states and globally. The meeting shall take place at Radisson Blu Hotel Addis Ababa.
Hotels keep generating revenue to various governments in Africa. Therefore, the industry is considered vital for attracting tourists. African economy has received a significant boost from hotels since they offer accommodation and hospitality services to tourists.
Noppen Group, the event organizers, has communicated that key speakers from various parts of the globe confirmed to attend. The organizers revealed that currently, there are 417 International Class Hotels. Their records also show that 72,816 rooms are available from these International Class Hotels.The top 10 destinations by hotel expansion pipeline status. Include Kenya, Egypt, Angola, South Africa, Algeria, Nigeria, Angola, Tunisia, Morocco and Cape Verde.
The event will allow for a panel discussion among key industry leaders. Global and local investors, consultants, developers, financial institutes and other key leaders have been invited. They will discuss the current trends and technology and share their ideas. They will also discuss the present state and desirable future for the hotels in Africa.
Presently, Kigali in Rwanda maintains the reputation of being the most attractive city in Eastern Africa for the global hospitality industry. Rwanda is currently on the focus with top-level international investors since it has received a positive rating. The tourism and hospitality sector of Rwanda attracts many conferences and business meetings in the country.
Ethiopia has also expanded its international reputation, and the growth depends on infrastructural growth in the country. The state has invested resources from Ethiopian Airlines to other infrastructures.
